Cycle training for our precious ones 🙂

next thursday 2nd june and friday 3rd june i will be holding 2 sessions of 2 hours of level 1 national standard cycle tuition for our young superstars of the future at saltergate junior school

arrive for 9.45 am, starts at 10am and will be done about noon/ just after

aspects covered…

-prepare yourself and your bike for cycling

-get on and off your bike without help

-start off, pedal and stop with control

-pedal along, use gears and avoid objects

-look all around and behind, and control the bike

-share space with pedestrians and other cyclists

– finishing off with some fun and games, covering the outcomes they have learnt, a sticker (made by daughters molly and maisie) and a certificate (made by me 😉 )

all the basics to get them out and to enjoy a bicycle ride with mummy and/or daddy 🙂

all children will need a roadworthy bike and helmet and be able to already ride a bike

you are welcome just to leave them with me and go and have an hour or two to yourself (ie tidy up at home) …

i’m fully insured and have an enhanced DBS certificate

cost is £10 for the 2 hour session and numbers limited up to 6 children so they get the maximum out of the session

any little ones who cant yet ride, i can sort that too, but at another time 🙂

please let me know if you are interested or shout if you have any questions via email [email protected]

PS cheaper and healthier than going to Billy Bobs ice cream parlour 😉

all the best

Me x

  1. My daughter can ride a bike with stabilisers. When would you be doing a course for her to learn to cycle without stabilisers.

    Thank you

  2. hi Tricia

thanks for getting in touch…the best option would be a 1:1 session at this early stage as everyone progresses at different speeds… my hourly rate is £20 and to date have got everyone pedaling on 2 wheels with in that hour… my best advice till then, is take off the stabalizers, remove her pedals and get her practicing at balancing..then leave the rest to me :-)… if you would like to book anything then please get in touch via the contacts page 🙂 hope that kinda answers everything

    till then

    warmest regards

    dave 🙂
